The Milton Angel Group is forming in Milton, Georgia — a private group for accomplished individuals who want to learn how to invest successfully in early-stage technology companies and build real, lasting wealth.
Led by Tuff Yen, a career venture capitalist who has personally invested over $200 million across 180+ startups, the group will teach members how professional investors source deals, conduct due diligence, structure investments, build diversified portfolios, and ultimately generate outsized returns.
This is not a fund and not a sales pitch. It is an opportunity to learn directly from one of the most experienced angel investors in the country — right here in your community.
Early-stage technology investing has produced some of the greatest wealth creation events in modern history — but most people never learn how it actually works. The Milton Angel Group gives you direct access to the strategies, frameworks, and real-world lessons behind successful startup investing.
Learn how professional investors find high-quality startup opportunities and quickly identify which ones are worth pursuing — and which to pass on.
Understand how to evaluate a founding team, assess market potential, analyze financials, and investigate the risks before writing a check.
Discover why diversification is the key to angel investing success and how to build a portfolio that maximizes your chances of outsized returns.
See how the math works — why venture capital investing, when done right, should be part of every qualified investor's portfolio for long-term wealth building.
Tuff Yen is a career venture capitalist and the founder of Seraph Group, an investment firm that brings together successful individuals to create wealth through ownership of private enterprises.
Mr. Yen began his career as a bioengineer at Genentech and Amgen, two of the world's leading biotechnology companies. After earning his MBA from the Yale School of Management, he entered venture capital at Chemical Venture Partners — the private equity arm of Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan), then managing $8 billion — before joining Hambrecht & Quist's $1.6 billion affiliated fund in San Francisco.
In 2004, Mr. Yen founded Seraph Group and introduced the Structured Angel Fund, a venture capital fund designed specifically for angel investors and family offices. Since then, he has led investments of over $200 million into more than 180 companies across aerospace, cybersecurity, medical devices, enterprise software, fintech, and more.
His investor network spans 400+ individuals across 120+ cities in North America, Europe, and Asia — including Fortune 500 C-level executives, entrepreneurs, technologists, and investment professionals.
